MTS turns up 4G LTE Wireless Network in Portage la Prairie: (June 18, 2013)
MTS, Manitoba's leading telecommunications provider, announced today that it has completed its 4G LTE wireless network expansion to Portage la Prairie, the third of six Manitoban communities that will receive MTS's 4G LTE Wireless service in 2013. Residents can now experience faster-than-ever wireless download and upload speeds on the latest LTE-enabled wireless devices.
Staying connected at Countryfest easier than ever before: (June 17, 2013)
Dauphin's Countryfest, Canada's longest running country music festival, is partnering with MTS to offer fans enhanced wireless services this year. Together, they're introducing two new acts to this year's line-up: the MTS Charging Station and a brand-new temporary cellular tower. These new services are going to help MTS customers stay connected at the festival.
MTS enhances wireless service through extended network sharing agreement with Rogers: (June 13, 2013)
Building on the successful joint deployment of its 4G HSPA+ wireless network in Manitoba, MTS Inc. MTS, Manitoba's leading telecommunications provider, today announced it has launched high-speed Internet service in Falcon Lake, West Hawk Lake, Victoria Beach and Grand Beach. These four Manitoba cottage communities can now connect to the Internet using digital subscriber line (DSL) – a technology that transforms a regular telephone line into a high-capacity data highway.
