MTS today announced that it will be expanding its fibre-to-the-home network, the MTS FiON® Network, to Oakbank, Manitoba later this year. This fibre-optic technology provides customers with the most advanced services MTS currently offers, including MTS Ultimate TV® and ultra-fast high-speed Internet.
MTS today introduced My Trade-In, a new program that lets customers swap their used devices for an in-store credit at any MTS Connect store location. MTS representatives will confirm the trade-in value of any device brought into the store and issue a credit on the spot. Customers can then use these valuable in-store credits to offset the cost of upgrading to the latest device or switching their service to MTS.
Until April 19, Manitobans will help determine the 10 youth serving organizations that will share $100,000 in MTS Future First community grants. Twenty finalists have been selected and online voting is now open.
MTS today expanded its television line-up, adding the Sun News Network to its News channel package. MTS News subscribers will be able to access the Sun News Network in standard definition on channel 143 and in high definition on channel 1143 (only available on MTS Ultimate TV).
